Lake Express Ferry moved out of storage for 2014 season

MILWAUKEE (WITI) --  It’s a sign that summer isn’t too far away — the Lake Express Ferry was moved out of storage Tuesday morning, April 8th and made its annual trip from its winter home along the Menomonee River Valley out to the shores of Lake Michigan.

The ferry service begins on Thursday, May 1st. The Lake Express takes only about two-and-a-half hours to get from Milwaukee to Muskegon, Michigan.
