Attempted ATM theft in Brookfield; Landmark Credit Union
BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Three people were taken into custody in Brookfield on Wednesday morning, June 12 following an attempted ATM theft.
It happened at Landmark Credit Union near Janacek and Bluemound.
Police say they were called to the scene around 3 a.m. for an alarm. When police arrived at the scene, they observed a truck attempting to remove the ATM. The suspects ran from the scene.

A perimeter was established, and all three suspects were taken into custody. The suspects have been identified as men, ages 25 and 36, who reside out of state. It was later determined the truck used in the attempted theft was stolen from Milwaukee.
