Latest: 50-year-old motorcyclist dies from his injuries after Kewaskum crash
WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A 50-year-old West Bend man who was involved in a motorcycle accident on County Highway H at State Highway 144 in Kewaskum has died. The announcement comes from officials Sunday, October 18th.
The accident happened Saturday, October 3rd.
Authorities say evidence at the scene indicated the man was headed westbound on County Highway H when it failed to stop for a stop sign at State Highway 114. As the man approached the intersection, he crossed over the centerline and entered the ditch on the south side of Highway H.
Sheriff’s officials say deputies detected the odor of intoxicants on the motorcyclist.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim at this time.
According to Washington County officials, this is the 9th traffic fatality in Washington County during 2015.
