Leon's Custard adds Blue Moon; 1st new flavor in 30 years

The Milwaukee staple will have Blue Moon available as the Friday flavor of the day in pints and half gallons.

MILWAUKEE - After 30+ years, Leon’s Frozen Custard has added a new flavor to the rotation starting Friday, May 21. Blue Moon will be the flavor of the day on Friday and will always available in pints and half gallons!

Leon's has been a Milwaukee staple for almost 80 years – and tradition is their top priority.

"I could not tell you the last time I saw a new flavor. This is awesome – I can't wait," said Lisa Thompson a Leon's customer.

"We don't make many changes quickly as you may have noticed," said Ronald Schneider, owner of Leon's.

Schneider and his family have kept the legendary frozen custard stand going since its opening in 1942. After a few decades with the same menu, the family decided to change it up a bit with a classic Wisconsin flavor.

The owners of Leon's hope that by adding Blue Moon to the menu, they will be adding to your Leon's Frozen Custard experience.

"The goal is that if you come here every 10 years or every day, that it all remains the same. The same experience, the same product, and the same service," Schneider said.
