MILWAUKEE - Fire crews responded to a house fire near Wentworth and Texas in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood Thursday afternoon, June 24. The call came in shortly before 1 p.m.

The fire was located in the attic space of an occupied home, however, no injuries were reported.
Multiple witnesses say lightning struck then home, but the fire chief says they are still investigating whether the cause of the fire was from lightning.
