DECORAH, Iowa (WITI) -- The bald eagles are back on their nest in Decorah, Iowa -- readying for eggs that are expected to be laid in late February.

“We are anticipating the first egg some time between mid-February and early March, with the most likely time between February 22nd and February 28th. However, it could happen earlier or later,” said a post to the Raptor Resource Project Facebook page.
