Lockdown lifted at West Allis Memorial Hospital after individual found dead in the area

WEST ALLIS -- West Allis police tell FOX6 News West Allis Memorial Hospital was placed on lockdown Sunday, November 27th while officials searched for an individual who was possibly armed and suicidal.

Police say that individual was unfortunately found dead in the area.

The lockdown was eventually lifted.

The lockdown was initiated "out of an abundance of caution," police said.
