Malaika Early Learning Center expanded to include first through third grade

MILWAUKEE -- The Todd Wehr Malaika Early Learning Center in Milwaukee has expanded.

The expansion included seven months of construction to update and renovate the facility that's located near 1st and Auer.

School officials said the current facility was expanded to include first through third grade.

"We want not only for our children to be smart, but they need to be able to make smart social decisions as well. So with that I thank you all very, very much for your support," Tamara Johnson with the Todd Wehr Malaika Early Learning Center said.
