Man arrested following drug bust in Kenosha; heroin linked to overdose victims
KENOSHA -- Agents from the Racine County Metro Drug Unit, the Kenosha Drug Operations Group and D.E.A Milwaukee have arrested a significant local drug dealer.
Investigating officers served a search warrant at a residence near 91st Street and 15th Avenue and in Kenosha on Monday, December 21st. Located in the residence was 37.3 grams of heroin, 45.4 grams of cocaine and 175 ecstasy tablets.
According to the Racine County Sheriff's Office -- the suspect has been part of an investigation for over a year for selling heroin that has been linked to area heroin overdose victims. The investigation came together as a result of continued investigative efforts between the different agencies.
The suspect is being held at the Racine County Jail with additional charges forthcoming in Kenosha County.
Charges:
• Delivery of heroin, two counts
• Keeper of a drug place
• Possession of heroin with intent to deliver
• Possession of cocaine with intent to deliver
• Possession of ecstasy (MDMA) with intent to deliver
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
