Man arrested for carrying concealed guns into hospital

MILWAUKEE -- A 31-year-old man was arrested for carrying two concealed handguns into Froedtert Hospital while visiting his wife. Nurses found the guns after the man lost consciousness, and had to be taken to the emergency room.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says the man admitted the guns were his when they confronted him. He did not have a concealed carry permit, and has no prior criminal history.

The man faces two misdemeanor charges of carrying concealed weapons, and faces up to nine months in jail for each charge.
