Man charged with armed robbery for allegedly stealing baseball cards
ST. FRANCIS -- A 33-year-old St. Francis man is charged with armed robbery for allegedly stealing $400 baseball cards from a Racine Kmart.
Racine police say Joseph Marciniak took 25 packages of baseball cards and threatened a security officer with a box cutter.
They eventually arrested Marciniak at his parent's home. Marciniak told police he had done the same thing three times before, and only got tickets.
Because of the box cutter, Marciniak is facing up to 40 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines.
