Man fatally shot at business on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at a business near 32nd and Hampton on Friday afternoon, January 9th.

Police were dispatched to the scene around 12:30 p.m. -- and found an adult male had been fatally shot. Police have identified the victim as Deandre Sturdivant.

Investigators believe that the shooting happened when a suspect was attempting to rob patrons of the business and one of the victims shot the suspect.

Police say the shooter is in custody -- and no other other suspects are being sought.
