Man suspected of drunk driving tries to fight being arrested

WAUWATOSA -- A man suspected of drunk driving tried to fight being arrested twice after hitting a light pole.

Officials say an off-duty Wauwatosa police officer who witnessed the crash near I-94 and the 84th Street off-ramp chased the suspect.

The two struggled, but the officer eventually arrested 29-year-old Troy Cesar.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office took Cesar to the hospital, where they say he fought with hospital staff and even tried to "box" with a sheriff's deputy.

Cesar was eventually tasered.
