Man, woman arrested, children in protective custody after heroin, marijuana found in Racine home
RACINE COUNTY (WITI) -- Racine County Sheriff's officials say two people were arrested as a search warrant was executed at a home on 6th Street early Friday, March 20th.
Just before 5:30 a.m., the Racine County Sheriff's Office's SWAT Team, agents from the Racine County Metro Drug Unit and investigators from the Racine Police Department's Special Investigative Unit executed a search warrant in the 700 block of 6th Street.
These investigators had information to suggest that a 31-year-old man and his 26-year-old girlfriend were involved in the sale of heroin.
During their search, investigators found heroin, marijuana and a digital scale in the home.
Two young children were taken into temporary protective custody by the Racine County Human Services Department.
