Marijuana growing operation discovered in Racine County

WATERFORD (WITI) -- Authorities from the Racine County Sheriff's Office and Racine County Metro Drug Unit discovered a marijuana growing operation at a residence on River Street in the Village of Waterford.

The operation was found on Friday, September 6th around 8:45 a.m. inside the apartment of 51-year-old Jeffrey Kolby.

During a search of the home, Metro Agents and RASO Investigators located 14 marijuana plants being grown inside a bedroom. Authorities also found 128 individual packages of marijuana weighing a total of 5.8 pounds.

Kolby is being held at the Racine County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, manufacturing marijuana, keeper of a drug place for manufacture, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
