OAK CREEK -- Master Lock officials have announced the company's headquarters is moving to the former Caterpillar Global Mining Division's south campus on S. Howell Avenue in Oak Creek for a future expansion, the Milwaukee Business Journal is reporting.
According to the Business Journal, Master Lock would refill the 26-acre campus at 6744 S. Howell Avenue, which has about 121,000 square feet of office space in its two main buildings.
The company currently leases space at 137 W. Forest Hill Avenue in Oak Creek.
Renovation work will begin on the Howell Avenue campus this fall, and operations will move there in early 2017.
According to a press release from Master Lock officials, the move will accommodate the company’s growth of jobs in support of its Master Lock and American Lock brands, as well as the additional SentrySafe jobs brought to the area.
