6th and Mitchell fatal car crash
One person is dead following a single-car crash near 6th and Mitchell early Sunday morning. WARNING: Some people may find the video of this car fire difficult to watch.
MILWAUKEE - One person was killed in a crash near 6th and Mitchell shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8.
Police say a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed collided with a tree. The impact of the collision caused the vehicle to start on fire with the driver trapped inside.
The driver died as a result of their injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
