WAUKESHA/SUSSEX -- Meijer plans to offer medical care at two of its stores in Wisconsin.
In partnership with Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, Meijer will open in-store clinics at the stores in Waukesha (801 East Sunset Drive, Waukesha, WI) and Sussex (N51W24953 Lisbon Road, Sussex, WI -- which opens on June 5th) later this year.
Those visiting the clinics can have minor health problems like colds, flu, sore throats and minor infections treated.
According to a statement from Meijer, there are currently in-store clinics in stores in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois:
Meijer Health and Wellness Director Jacquelyn DeBruler said illnesses rarely present themselves at convenient times, and these medical clinics provide a great solution for customers.
The clinics are staffed by the partnering healthcare provider or hospital systems’ physicians or physician assistants, and offer a variety of clinical and acute care services.
