MILWAUKEE -- Authorities were called to Washington Park after a car crashed through the lagoon ice Friday night.
Officials were called to the scene around 5:10 p.m. where they found the car, abandoned -- according to the Milwaukee Fire Department. Witnesses reported two individuals fled the scene prior to the arrival of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
The car has since been removed from the lagoon.
