Military ordnance found in Fond du Lac Co. basement

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit responded to a request from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21st for the disposal of a military ordnance found in the basement of a Fond du Lac home.

The device was found by the home's owner while cleaning the basement.

The EOD Unit determined the ordnance to be non-explosive, and transported it to the EOD bunker for future destruction.
