MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Alderman Bob Donovan announced Saturday, March 9 he will not seek re-election in 2020.
Donovan served on the Milwaukee Common Council representing Milwaukee's 8th District for nearly 20 years.
He spoke with FOX6 News about his decision.
"I've been so blessed to have been chosen by my constituents to represent them five times. But it's time to move on," Donovan said. "We're looking forward to what the next chapter of our life may hold."
