"I'm grateful for our life because it could've went a whole different way," said Lashun Levingston. "My car, the rear, was pushed all the way in," Levingston said.

Milwaukee police say the ambulance was going to a call on Silver Spring when it hit four legally parked calls, leaving the block and some neighbors in disarray.

"The paramedics had knocked the tree that was down there and the fire hydrant," said Levingston.

The crash near 93rd also upended Levingston's day-to-day life.

"You gotta go to work and transportation and things like that," Levingston said.

It wasn't just Levingston's car that was damaged, but her daughter's car, too.

"We're dealing with two of the four," said Levingston.

"It was the trailblazer that the ambulance car was inside of," said Shaniqua Strong.

Strong said she could've been inside the car.

"Just for a little peace, I sit in my car," said Strong. "But yeah, I'm glad I wasn't sitting in my car earlier this morning because I would've been, man, I would've been gone."

"I'm a big crybaby. I was crying because I miss my baby (car), but I still got my baby (daughter)," Levingston said.

Levingston said she's grateful for her daughter's life and everyone else's.

"It's not a funeral," said Levingston. "Maybe a little sore, the paramedics, and I'm grateful to God for sparing their lives."

Police said after the crash, a person from one of the cars threatened the ambulance driver with a gun before leaving.

Everyone involved is expected to be okay, including the two people taken to a hospital.

"Material things can be replaced, but not a life," said Levingston.

Police said the ambulance driver didn't suffer from any medical emergency leading up to the crash and was cited.

"I could've got angry, my feelings hurt, could've got angry," said Levingston. "But so much is going on now in society that I'm so grateful that a life wasn't lost."

Instead of what was wrecked, Levingston and her daughter are focusing on what's intact.

"It's like dang, my car, but it's just like yes, my life, I'm still here," said Strong.

Police said they are searching for the person who threatened the ambulance driver with a gun.

FOX6 News has contacted the private ambulance company, Curtis, several times with no response.
