MILWAUKEE -- Harley-Davidson Inc. will roll out an electric bike to customers within the next five years, said senior vice president of global demand Sean Cummings in an exclusive interview with the Milwaukee Business Journal.
That's as close as Cummings would get to providing a release date for the highly anticipated electric motorcycle, a commercially viable version of the LiveWire prototype that Harley trotted around the country for test rides.
Until now, Milwaukee-based Harley had said only that it was still working on an electric bike, but never put any time frame on its full development.
