Milwaukee child abuse; 6-year-old dead, woman arrested
MILWAUKEE - A 33-year-old woman was arrested in connection to a child abuse case in Milwaukee on Sunday, July 21.
It happened in the area of 103rd Street and Bourbon. A six-year-old was taken to the hospital, and was pronounced dead around 12:30 a.m.

The family identified that child as Zane Adams, who loved his family and loved to play.
The woman arrested has not yet been charged, but records show she has a past child abuse conviction.
Loved ones say they are devastated.
"This is kind of what can happen when you isolate a child, and they're not around people that love them so much," the victim's uncle Frank Adams said. "My brother, he had his own things going on that he has to handle right now. He's incarcerated and my nephew was just left with the wrong person."

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
