MILWAUKEE -- Officials with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office say a Milwaukee man was arrested early Monday morning, January 11th for his fourth DUI.
Around 4:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a rollover crash on I-43 southbound at W. Howard Avenue.
There, they found a silver Honda on its roof in a lane of traffic. The driver had fled the scene.
Sheriff's officials say a witness indicated the driver of the silver Honda had run up the off-ramp after the crash.
The 34-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody. It was found he suffered only minor injuries in the crash.
The man was arrested for felony DUI fourth offense, which carries a penalty of up to six years in prison.
This man's prior DUI convictions occurred in September 2000, October 2011 and September 2012.
