Milwaukee County Zoo shows off three lion cubs

The Milwaukee County Zoo showed off for the first time on Tuesday its newest furry additions; three African lion cubs. They're the first lion cubs born at the zoo since 1974.

The cubs are a little over two months old. Until now, visitors to the zoo could only see them through a video feed placed in the den of their mother.

"They'll be active for most of the day but they're like cats they'll play and then they'll get tired or they'll have to nurse. But most of the time they'll be active," said Zoo Director Chuck Wikenhauser.

Two of the cubs do not have names. A contest is underway where you can submit a name of your choosing. Two winner will be selected in a month.

The Milwaukee County Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
