Fatal hit-and-run crash; Milwaukee police seek driver
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened on Saturday night, Jan. 4.
It happened near 34th and Lloyd around 7:45 p.m. Police said a vehicle was headed north on 34th Street and hit another vehicle that was headed westbound on Lloyd Street.

The driver who caused the crash fled the scene, police said. There were two people in the vehicle that was hit.
The Milwaukee Fire Department said it took one person to a hospital with "traumatic injuries." MPD said a 70-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital and died of their injuries. The driver was also taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
