Crash near 60th and Calumet in Milwaukee

Milwaukee police are investigating a crash that occurred on Monday, July 8 near 60th and Calumet.

Three teenagers were injured, and one was arrested, following a crash on Milwaukee's north side on Monday, July 8.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the crash happened just after 5 a.m. near 60th and Calumet.

The driver was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control and collided with two trees. The vehicle also appears to have caught fire.

The driver, a 14-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. He was arrested.

The passengers, a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old, were transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
