Milwaukee girl found safe, reported critically missing Tuesday

UPDATE: MPD said Journee Grandberry, reported critically missing on Tuesday, has been found safe.

The Milwaukee Police Department requested the public's help to find critically missing 11-year-old Journee Grandberry. 

Police said Grandberry was last in contact with her family on Monday afternoon. She was last believed to be in the area of 57th and Congress and should be on foot.

A Milwaukee police officer said a lot of scenarios fall under the term "critically missing."

Grandberry is described as 5 feet tall and around 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black shirt and a black scarf, as well as rainbow-colored leggings and black Nike Jordan shoes. 

Anyone with information on Grandberry's whereabouts is asked to call Milwaukee Police District 7 at 414-935-7272.
