While the investigation is ongoing, police said it appears to be domestic violence related.

Fire rekindles near 29th and Bobolink after Milwaukee arson investigation

"I saw the lady sitting out on the rock and was yelling belligerently, and they put her in handcuffs. They were out here until one o'clock, two o'clock in the morning," said neighbor Antionette Tipton. "The one guy had a walker and was really quiet. The lady was definitely a spitfire, and she definitely would go off and say all kinds of anything."

FOX6 News was at the scene Wednesday afternoon when the fire rekindled – and called 911. The homeowner's brother said now, after two fires, the home is probably a total loss.

"I’m like, oh my God, this house is back on fire," said Trenton Ward, who said his brother owns the home. "With all the water damage, and now they’ve vented everything open through the rafters, I think it’s a wrap."

The people involved were tenants of the home, Ward said – not the homeowner.

Neighbors, like Tipton, were concerned to see the same house on fire not even 24 hours after the first.

"That is concerning because all I did was smell the smoke a minute ago," Tipton said. "I just want to pray for the family because nothing is that serious to set a whole house on fire and put everybody on that blocks life in danger."
