Milwaukee fatal shooting, 33rd and Hadley, man dead
MILWAUKEE - Pasquel Nava, 26, of Milwaukee was killed in a shooting early Wednesday, June 28 near 33rd and Hadley.
Police said the shots were fired shortly before 5 a.m. Despite life-saving efforts, Nava died at the scene.

One neighbor who was too scared to show his face on camera described what he heard and saw early Wednesday.
"I heard like, five to six bullets, and I'm like, that was real close," he said. "Super close."

He said he was walking to work around 4:45 a.m. when police responded to the neighborhood.
"I looked across the street, and there was a person just laying there," he said. "He didn't even get a chance to live his life. He really didn't."
Neighbors said gunfire is common in the area, so much so that some said they're considering moving. The man FOX6 News spoke with pointed out "at least five vacant houses on the block."
"You can't hardly do nothing over here," he said. "If you are BBQ, you hear shooting all the time, and like I told my girlfriend, ‘We got to go. We got to get out of here.’ It's not Milwaukee no more."
