Milwaukee crash Saturday, fire department vehicle involved

Crash near 61st and Congress

A Milwaukee Fire Department vehicle was involved in a crash on the city's north side Saturday, Feb. 1.

What we know:

It happened around 2:30 p.m. FOX6 News at the scene found the MFD vehicle and a silver Toyota on the lawn of a home near 61st and Congress. The Toyota had significant damage to its driver's side.

MFD said a battalion chief was responding to a report of a structure fire at the time. One person was taken to a hospital.
