44th and Lisbon homicide, Milwaukee police investigate

Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide near Washington Park Wednesday night. It happened near 44th and Lisbon.

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide near Washington Park Wednesday night, May 11. It happened near 44th and Lisbon. 

The victim, a 52-year-old Milwaukee man identified as Sylvester Toliver, sustained fatal gunshot injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, Toliver was pronounced dead on scene. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
