Milwaukee man fatally shot near 72nd & Sheridan
A Milwaukee man, 46, died at the hospital after a shooting near 72nd and Sheridan Wednesday.
MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee man, 46, died at the hospital after a shooting near 72nd and Sheridan Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Police said the shots were fired shortly before 4:30 p.m. during an argument.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police are looking for the shooter.

Theodore Edgecomb guilty, reckless homicide, Jason Cleereman shooting
The jury in the Theodore Edgecomb trial on Wednesday, Jan. 26. reached a verdict, finding Edgecomb guilty of first-degree reckless homicide in the September 2020 death of Jason Cleereman, a Milwaukee attorney, a lesser included offense.
Three people were hurt in Milwaukee shootings between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Milwaukee Burger King worker Niesha Harris-Brazell's co-worker, Derrick Ellis, accused of firing the shots that killed her, made his initial appearance in court Wednesday and received $30K cash bond. Antoine Edwards, the man who allegedly planned the robbery, was bound over for trial.
