A criminal complaint states officers were on patrol when they saw a silver Chevrolet with no rear license plate and tried to pull it over near 51st and Melvina.

The Chevrolet initially pulled over, but then quickly accelerated – sparking a pursuit. Prosecutors said the driver – 25-year-old Raheem Clinton – reached 90 mph, ran multiple stop signs and red lights, and drove into oncoming traffic as he fled.
The chase ended near 17th and Center when Clinton swerved and crashed into a fence, per the complaint. Officers approached the car and arrested Clinton. The pursuit stretched 3.7 miles.

What's next
Clinton is charged with one count of fleeing/eluding an officer and one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety. He posted $700 bond on Jan. 9.
Court records show Clinton is due back in court Monday, Jan. 13 for a preliminary hearing.
