Suspicious House Fire

Milwaukee Police are investigating a suspicious early morning house fire near 7th & Messmer.



MILWAUKEE -- Firefighters on Thursday morning, Jan. 10 responded to the scene of a house fire near 7th and Capitol -- by Messmer High School. The call came in around 4:20 a.m.

Officials said the fire started in the rear of the vacant home -- and appeared suspicious.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
