Milwaukee police investigate triple shooting near 29th and Clybourn



MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred near 29th Street and Clybourn Street Monday evening, August 22nd. Three people were hurt.

According to police, the initial investigation reveals that at some point after a physical fight, at least one subject began shooting at people in the area.

A 22-year-old man received a non-fatal gunshot injury. He was conveyed to a hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.

The second victim, a 22- year-old woman received a graze wound and was treated on the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department.

The third victim, a 32-year-old man received a serious gunshot injury. He was conveyed to the hospital by a friend and is expected to survive.

It is unclear if the shooting victims were involved in the earlier fight.

FOX6's Jenna Sachs was on scene at 29th and Clybourn Monday night. She saw a bicycle laying in the middle of the street, and more than 20 evidence markers at the scene. A vehicle with its back window blown out was also spotted at the scene.
