Milwaukee police investigate two shootings overnight

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shooting incidents from overnight Saturday into Sunday.

The first occurred just after 10 p.m. on Saturday in the 4800 block of N. Green Bay Rd. The victim, a 25-year-old male from Milwaukee, is being treated at a hospital for serious injuries.  The motive for the shooting appears to be robbery.  There are no suspects in custody.

The second shooting happened around midnight near 17th and Capitol. The victim, a 17-year-old female, is being treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  The victim was shot after a fight/dispute occurred at a house party.  There are no suspects in custody.
