Milwaukee police: Man stumbled into roadway, struck by vehicle

MILWAUKEE -- A 32-year-old Milwaukee man stumbled into the roadway and was struck by a vehicle near 35th and Capitol on Saturday evening, February 27th.

The incident happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

According to witnesses, the victim was struck by a vehicle that was westbound on Capitol Dr. The man is being treated at a hospital for serious injuries.

Milwaukee police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with investigating officers.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor with the driver.
