There was a significant police presence at an apartment building near 80th and Bender on Sunday night, June 18.
MILWAUKEE - A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy has been arrested after a chase and tactical situation on Sunday, June 18.
Milwaukee police were chasing a vehicle near 80th and Winfield around 10:30 p.m. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle because it had no license plate and matched the description of a vehicle wanted for robbery. The driver refused to stop.
The chase ended near 80th and Bender when the driver ran from the vehicle into a residence.

A tactical setup was made, and a search warrant was executed.
The Milwaukee boy was arrested without further incident. The vehicle was determined to be stolen.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
