A power outage near Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport was caused by an uncommon culprit Monday, Oct. 22.

We Energies said a tree came into contact with utility equipment after a beaver gnawed at the trunk, causing it to tip. Crews responded and restored power for the nearly 3,000 impacted customers Monday afternoon.
