Milwaukee police chase; 5 juveniles arrested, their vehicle struck squad

Five juveniles were arrested after a police chase and foot pursuit in Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon, July 2.

Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) officials said investigators received a Flock camera alert around 2:40 p.m. regarding a stolen black Jeep Cherokee at the Mitchell Park Domes. This happened at the same time the people in that vehicle were trying to break into a red Kia. Milwaukee officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver fled.

A police chase, which also involved the MCSO, ended when the vehicle stopped at 30th and Michigan. Everyone in the vehicle jumped out and fled on foot. The unoccupied vehicle continued to roll and collided with a responding squad. No injuries were reported.
