MPD responds to 3 shootings in just over 4 hours Friday

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating three separate shootings that happened over a period of just more than four hours on Friday, Feb. 26.

Three men were injured, one seriously, and one suspect is in custody.

15th and Center

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and injured just before noon. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man, was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days.

According to police, the shooting appears to be the result of an argument.

86th and Medford

Authorities said a 29-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and injured near 86th and Medford -- a block west of Fond du Lac -- just after 3 p.m. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said the shooting appears to be the result of a robbery. They are seeking unknown suspects.

26th and Auer

A 26-year-old man walked to the hospital after being shot and seriously injured on the city's north side around 4 p.m. He is now in stable condition.

Police are seeking unknown suspects.
