27th and Highland shooting, Milwaukee woman injured: police

Milwaukee police said a woman was shot and injured near 27th and Highland on Friday, March 18.

The victim, 22, went to the hospital and is expected to survive, police said. What led to the shooting, which happened around 6:15 p.m. is not yet known.

Baby Theresa death investigation; mother of newborn ID'd, charged

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday, March 18 a significant update in the Baby Theresa death investigation case. Officials have identified mother of the newborn as Karin Luttinen of Milwaukee – and she has been charged with concealing the death of a child, a felony.
