Milwaukee shootings Thursday; 1 dead, 4 wounded
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shootings that happened Thursday night, Oct. 12.
The shootings left one person dead and four others wounded.
Hopkins and Ruby
The first shooting happened near Hopkins and Ruby around 6:30 p.m. Police said the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are looking for whoever is responsible, and the shooting remains under investigation.

27th and Lisbon
Three people were shot and wounded near 27th and Lisbon around 11 p.m. Police say armed suspects fired shots at an unidentified victim, who sustained a gunshot injury. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a life-threatening injury. One of the suspects, an 18-year-old, sustained a gunshot injury during the shooting.
Shortly before 1 a.m Friday, an additional victim, a 29-year-old, was located near 39th and Meinecke after medical assistance was called out. The victim suffered a non-fatal injury.
The 18-year-old suspect is in custody and Milwaukee police continue to seek additional suspects. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
Unknown location
A third shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Police said a 51-year-old victim arrived at the hospital for treatment of a non-fatal injury. The location and circumstances are under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
