Milwaukee police two people who were shot and wounded in separate incidents on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Oakland and Locust

The first shooting happened around 7 p.m. Saturday near Oakland and Locust – on Milwaukee's east side. 

A 23-year-old victim was shot and wounded. Police said the victim was taken to a hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Darien and Green Bay Road

Just before 9 p.m., police responded to N. Darien Street at Green Bay Road. When they arrived on the scene, they found a 20-year-old shot and wounded.

In both of these incidents, what led to the shooting remains under investigation. Police are also looking for the shooter in each incident.
