Shooting scene near Teutonia and Florist
MILWAUKEE - Separate Milwaukee shootings left two people dead and three others wounded on Friday, Aug. 23.
Police are still looking for the people responsible.
19th and Forest Home
Two people were shot around 1:40 a.m. A 21-year-old victim, who the medical examiner's office identified as Detavius Ollie, died at a hospital. A 35-year-old victim was wounded and is expected to survive. Police are looking for a 25-year-old man in regard to the shooting.
Teutonia and Florist
Around 5:10 p.m., three people were shot. A 30-year-old man was shot and died at the scene. The victim has been identified as Saxon Perry.
A 25-year-old victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition, and a 34-year-old victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Officials say a vehicle was seen leaving the scene at a high rate of speed and a police chase was initiated. The vehicle disregarded a red light on N. Sherman Boulevard and W. Villard Avenue and collided with a second vehicle. The 32-year-old driver fled on foot and went into a residence near Sherman and Lancaster.

The Milwaukee Police Department Tactical Enforcement Unit responded, and the driver was ultimately taken into custody. A firearm and suspected narcotics were located inside the vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 19-year-old, was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
