Police: 3 Milwaukee shootings Saturday; 5 injured

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating three separate shootings that happened Saturday afternoon, May 8.

One shooting wounded three in the city's Walker's Point neighborhood. Another happened during an apparent robbery.

20th and Greenfield

The first shooting happened around 1 p.m. near 20th and Greenfield. The victim, a 25-year-old Milwaukee woman, was shot during an apparent robbery. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

25th and Auer

Around 1:15 p.m., another shooting happened near 25th and Auer – nearly five miles north of the first shooting.

The victim, a 38-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

10th and Walker

Police said three people were shot and injured near 10th and Walker in the Walker's Point neighborhood around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday.

The victims – two 23-year-old Milwaukee men and a 25-year-old woman – were all taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

MPD seeks info

Milwaukee police do not have anyone in custody for any of the incidents and continue to seek unknown suspects. A known suspect is sought in the 10th and Walker triple shooting.
