Separate Milwaukee shootings wounded two people on Monday, March 17. 

27th and Capitol

What we know:

A 39-year-old victim was shot around 8 p.m. and taken to a hospital. FOX6 News found a scene a few blocks east, closer to 25th and Capitol. The Milwaukee Fire Department said the victim had three gunshot wounds.

What we don't know:

Police are still investigating what led to the shooting and looking for whoever is responsible.

A Milwaukee bar owner said he's calling it quits after someone shot and killed a mother of four nearby on Sunday, March 16.

Phillips and Center

What we know:

Around 10:30 p.m., police said a 46-year-old victim was shot near Phillips and Center. MPD said the victim summoned police just south of the scene, near Phillips and Clarke, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

What we don't know:

Police are looking for whoever is responsible. What led to the shooting remains under investigation.
