MILWAUKEE - A 64-year-old was fatally shot near 89th and Mill Road in Milwaukee early Sunday, Jan. 26.

What we know:
Officials say the shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday. The gunfire happened outside an apartment building not far from where a car sits with blown out windows.
Paramedics rushed to the scene, but police say the victim died on the scene.

Police are seeking an unknown shooter.
Another homicide down the road
What we know:
On Friday night, Jan. 24, police responded to 49th and Mill Road.
Police say someone shot a 33-year-old multiple times. The victim died at the hospital.
The shootings on Mill Road have not been connected – and Milwaukee police have not shared what led up to either incident.
